There will be two stages of nonstop music throughout the day at the Annual OB Street Fair. Music genres will include acoustic, rock, blues, alternative, Americana, and more. ZenZag is a collaboration of musicians stemming from different walks of life. Their journey started as an acoustic duo between Patrick and Aliyah Valdez. Using music as a way to connect with themselves and each other the project naturally grew, and with every member that joined the sound evolved. ZenZag could be described as Reggae fusion but their sound is much more than that. With heavy influences from Miles Davis, Steel Pulse, System of a Down, Santana and Erykah Badu, their live show takes you on a ride of where they have been and where they are going. The highs and lows of energy felt while experiencing ZenZag forces you to close your eyes, open your ears, and release yourself to the moment.

The meaning of the name ZenZag is “A peaceful change in direction” and they strive to embody that message in the moves that they make. They have a profound message within their music and are on a mission to connect and share their energy and vibes with many different audiences. They can be found playing in local and national venues, private events, and charity fundraisers. They are making noise in the West Coast music scene and will soon be on festival lineups and national tours. Keep your eye on the ZenFam they are making moves and are only getting started.

The long-established Monday night act at Winston's Beach Club, Electric Waste Band has drawn an adoring crowd of devoted fans each and every week since 1992 — an astounding two decades and counting.

Formed way back in 1989, Electric Waste Band has entertained the local deadhead community for many years now, always to rave reviews as they serve up a staggering catalog of over 150 classic Grateful Dead songs. Improvisation is their focal point and each member is well-versed in creating magic on the fly. Every performance is a unique journey, one that pays reverent homage to the past while somehow always sounding new and fresh.

Cappo Kelley

Cappo Kelley - Main Stage (6:30 - 8:00)

Cappo Kelley is a reggae artist/band specializing in lovers rock reggae; a sub- genre made popular by such legendary artists as Gregory Isaacs and Sugar Minott. Cappo’s smooth singing and songwriting style is perfectly complimented by the rich bass and drums of Gus Kendrick and Ed Fletcher. The band has quickly become a fan and venue favorite in San Diego. From outdoor dining, club nights, surf contests to Celebrity Golf events, the band has established themselves as being able to perform in a wide variety of venues and for different age groups. Cappo Kelley currently has 2 singles on streaming platforms, "Nothing Without You" and "Night and Day". Both are songs are in rotation on 91X Loudspeaker (91X FM radio in San Diego). The band has also been featured in-studio and on-air for Loudspeaker.

A flatpicking guitarist and singer/songwriter with a specialized focus in traditional roots music including Bluegrass, Country and Folk.


Israel Maldonado

Israel Maldonado - 92107 Stage (10:45 - 11:30)

If you could imagine what a dynamic musician sounds like singing in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, combined with live guitar and percussion that spans genres like Latin Funk, Reggae en Español, Samba, and Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian, you’d have Israel Maldonado. One of the most versatile artists in the San Diego music circuit, Israel has caught the attention of NPR, Kremona Guitars, and ‘Lightning in a Bottle’, one of the most revered boutique festivals in the US.
